What does the starting budget cover?
Minimum project value £8,999 including VAT. For one wetroom, in line with our booking form. This is a starting budget, not a fixed package price; the room, preparation and products determine your quote.
What is the difference between a wetroom and a walk-in shower?
A wetroom normally drains through a waterproofed floor with formed falls, rather than a separate shower tray. A walk-in shower usually uses a tray and a glass screen.
Can every bathroom become a wetroom?
No. Drainage, floor structure and access for maintenance need checking. A tray-based shower may be a more practical option in some properties.
Will it be completely step-free?
We assess that from the room and drainage. A wetroom should not be assumed to provide a fully level entrance before a survey.
Do I need a screen?
Usually some screening helps keep splashes away from the basin, toilet, storage and other fittings. The size and position depend on the room and shower layout.
Which floor finishes can I choose?
We discuss suitable wetroom finishes, including tiles, with drainage, waterproofing and slip resistance in mind. Let us know about any access needs so they can inform the design.
Can you fit a wetroom in a flat?
It needs careful assessment. Drainage access, floor construction and the property below can affect feasibility and future maintenance. We will discuss these constraints before recommending a wetroom.
Why does wetroom preparation matter?
Waterproofing, floor falls and drainage must work as a system. The preparation involved is one reason the cost can differ from a tray-based shower room.
Is the price fixed, and do I pay a deposit?
Once you accept your quotation and we confirm your installation date, the price for your agreed work is fixed. There is no deposit to secure your booking. Your quotation is valid for seven days, and installation dates remain subject to availability until confirmed.
