Cookie policy
Updated 12 October 2026. Claude’s Tradesmen uses cookies and similar browser storage to operate this website and our appointment service at book.claudestradesmen.co.uk. You can contact us at contact@claudestradesmen.co.uk.
Your choices
Optional analytics and advertising are off until you choose. You can accept all, reject all or select individual categories. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you browsing, requesting a quote or booking an appointment. Use at any time to change or withdraw your choice.
One choice across our website and booking service
On our live domain, we remember the same choice across this website and our booking service so that you do not have to answer again when requesting an appointment. Our separate review previews keep choices in their own browser storage and do not change your preferences on the live site.
Necessary storage
The preference cookie claudes-consent-v3 records your analytics and advertising choices, their version and the time you chose. It lasts for up to 90 days, unless you delete it sooner. It is set on claudestradesmen.co.uk and is readable by our subdomains. The preview uses local storage with the same name instead. This storage is used to remember your privacy choice, not to advertise to you.
The booking service also uses information needed to maintain your enquiry and booking session, prevent duplicate submissions and manage appointments. Essential security and delivery services are provided by Cloudflare. These necessary functions do not depend on optional consent.
Analytics — optional
If you allow analytics, our booking service may load Google Analytics to measure visits and successful enquiries or bookings. Google Analytics can use identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*. Their expiry is controlled by the service and its configuration; our permission is reviewed after 90 days. The main information website currently loads no analytics tags.
Advertising — optional
If you allow advertising, our booking service may load Google Ads and Meta measurement to understand whether advertising leads to an enquiry or appointment. These services may use identifiers such as _gcl_*, _fbp and _fbc. Refusing advertising leaves these integrations off. The main information website currently loads no advertising tags.
Information used for measurement
Our booking integration passes permitted campaign identifiers and an opaque event reference for successful enquiries and first bookings. It is designed not to send your name, email address, telephone number, property address, enquiry answers or private appointment-management token to these measurement tags. Google and Meta may process device and connection information when their tags are allowed. Their own privacy information explains their processing: Google and Meta.
When permitted, booking campaign information is kept in browser storage for up to 30 days. A limited browser record helps prevent the same successful enquiry or booking being counted repeatedly. Browser storage can be cleared using your browser settings.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Withdrawing consent stops optional measurement from being loaded on subsequent use and removes active measurement components when the booking page notices the change. We also remove readable tracking cookies for the withdrawn categories where the browser allows us to do so. Cookies restricted to the booking hostname are cleared when that service is next opened or checks your updated choice. You can also clear all site data using your browser settings. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent while you had consented.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the storage or services change. A material change to the optional purposes will require a new choice.
