What areas do you cover?
We cover a limited area around Aberdeen to keep projects close to each other—and to our suppliers. This helps us reduce travel time, lower costs, and work more efficiently as a team. You can check if we cover your postcode by using our quote form.
Why choose a general contractor who specialises in bathrooms?
Because it’s the best of both worlds. We combine the technical know-how of a general contractor with in-depth bathroom expertise. Unlike basic bathroom fitters, we understand things like structural work and ventilation. And unlike generalists, we’ve refined every aspect of bathroom refurbishment to a high standard.
When is the right time to request a quote?
Please request a quote only when you’re ready to make a decision. We usually send it the next working day, it’s valid for 7 days, and we don’t reissue quotes for the same property if it expires.
Why is the quote valid for 7 days only?
Because supplier prices can change by up to 50% from week to week. A short validity period helps ensure your quote reflects real costs. In many cases, we purchase materials as soon as you decide, protecting us both from sudden price hikes.
Why do you offer only one quote per customer/project?
Because it’s more efficient to focus on customers ready to go ahead. Preparing quotes—especially with 3D scans—takes time and storage, which adds to our costs. If a quote expires, we don’t reissue it, as prices may have changed and customers rarely accept a higher price later. To keep things fair and efficient, we only provide one quote per project.
What range of projects do you specialise in?
We specialise in full bathroom refurbishments, especially complex ones. With our background as general contractors, we’re often able to find solutions where others say it can’t be done—whether it’s layout changes or challenging designs
How long does it take to receive a quote?
In most cases, we send the quote the next working day. Only very complex projects that require internal discussion may take a bit longer.
What does the warranty cover?
It covers all the workmanship and materials that we supply. Our warranty service is one of the best you will find. We rely a lot on word of mouth, and offering a good warranty service guarantees us that those customers will recommend us to friends and family.
Is the price fixed?
Yes, this is very important. We are one of the only businesses that offer a fixed price, no matter what we find during fitting.
How long is the warranty?
The length of the warranty depends on the package you choose. We offer three options with each quote: Value, Balanced, and High-End. These packages come with warranties of 1, 3, and 5 years, respectively.
What are the average prices?
We primarily work in the mid-market, where most bathroom refurbishments fall between £10,000 and £20,000. This is where the majority of our customers sit, with the final cost depending on the size of the room, the layout changes involved, and the level of finishes chosen.
For smaller bathrooms, it is sometimes possible to work to a lower budget, typically around £7,000–£8,000, but this is very much the lower limit for a full refurbishment done properly.
We deliberately avoid projects with very tight budgets, as they usually require too many compromises in materials, preparation, and longevity. While you may see bathrooms advertised for £3,000–£4,000, these often come with shortcuts that lead to problems later and the need to redo the bathroom much sooner than expected.
At the other end of the scale, we also don’t operate in the ultra-high-end market (£30,000–£40,000+). If you’re looking to spend at that level, a full showroom-led experience is likely to be a better fit.
Our focus is on delivering well-designed, durable bathrooms that offer genuine long-term value, without unnecessary compromises or inflated showroom pricing.

Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
This full bathroom refurbishment was designed to make the room feel more modern, practical and comfortable to use every day. The customer wanted to replace an old-fashioned bathtub with a stylish walk-in shower, creating a space that feels more open, easier to access and simpler to maintain. The old bath sat on a raised platform, with tiles throughout the room, which made the space feel dated. We replaced it with a modern walk-in shower in front of the window, fitted with a dual thermostatic shower, a fixed walk-in panel and a flipper panel for better splash protection without closing the…
Shower Refurbishment, Blackburn
This full bathroom refurbishment was designed to make the room feel more practical, comfortable and enjoyable to use every day. Our customer wanted to replace the bathtub with a large shower enclosure, creating a more spacious and accessible washing area that is easier to step into and far more convenient for everyday use. Although we first considered a walk-in shower, keeping extra space under the window for storage was more important for the customer’s needs. The final layout gave them a better balance between a generous showering space and the storage needed to keep the bathroom tidy, organised and clutter-free.…
Bathtub to Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
We transformed this bathroom into a warmer, more comfortable and much easier-to-use space by replacing the old bathtub with a spacious walk-in shower. This made everyday showering simpler, safer and more convenient, while also giving the room a more open feel. To improve comfort, we fitted a thermostatic dual-head shower together with a pump for stronger water pressure, creating a much better showering experience day to day. The layout was also improved by swapping the positions of the radiator and vanity unit, helping the room work better and feel more practical. Because this was a granite house with very little…
Shower Room With Washing Machine/Dryer Stacked, Aberdeen
This full bathroom transformation replaced the old bathtub with a modern shower room designed to make everyday life easier, more comfortable, and more organised. A key goal for the customer was to bring the washing machine and dryer into the bathroom, so we completely reworked the layout to make that possible without making the room feel cramped. By stacking the appliances behind a purpose-built wall, we freed up enough space for a large 1300mm shower enclosure at the end of the room, creating a layout that feels far more practical and streamlined. The biggest improvement is how much better the…

Bathroom Refurbishment, Oldmeldrum
This project involved a full bathroom reconfiguration designed around how the customers actually wanted to use the space day-to-day. Rather than keeping the original layout, we rearranged the room so it could include both a proper walk-in shower and a comfortable bath. The customers were happy to sacrifice a small amount of storage in order to gain a much more practical and enjoyable bathroom, and the new layout makes far better use of the available space. One of the biggest improvements is the addition of a large walk-in shower on the door wall. This creates a much more convenient daily…
Bathroom Refurbishment, Aberdeen
This project was a full bathroom refurbishment designed to make the room feel larger, brighter and far more practical for everyday life. By rethinking the layout, we were able to unlock space that previously wasn’t being used properly. An old cupboard was removed and partly incorporated into the new 1200 × 800 recessed shower, creating a much more spacious showering area while still keeping the room well balanced. The remaining space beside the shower was used for floor-to-ceiling storage units, giving the customer plenty of practical storage while keeping the room tidy and uncluttered. To improve the overall proportions of…
Ensuite Refurbishment, Kingswells
This ensuite was designed to make everyday life simpler and more comfortable for a busy family. (The main bathroom was refurbished at the same time, in the same style, for a consistent look throughout the home.) Storage was the biggest priority. The L-shaped units make full use of the available space, giving the family generous, well-organised storage without crowding the room. No more cluttered surfaces or fighting for cupboard space — everything now has its place, which makes mornings far less stressful. The LED cabinet and illuminated shower recesses provide practical lighting exactly where it’s needed, while also adding a…
Shower Refurbishment, Kingswells
This bathroom had one major issue: almost no storage at all. And with the children getting older, the bathtub was becoming far less useful for day-to-day life. So we completely redesigned the room with one clear goal in mind: maximum storage and practicality for a busy family home. We re-planned the entire layout to make the space work properly, replacing wasted areas with smart, high-capacity storage. The shower enclosure was relocated into the area where the vanity unit used to be, and we fully redesigned the bath and toilet zone to allow for custom-built storage solutions that make a real…
Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
We transformed this bathroom from a bath-led layout into a spacious walk-in shower room that’s easier to use, easier to keep clean, and feels far more open and comfortable day to day. By replacing the old bath with a generous walk-in shower and reworking the layout, the room now feels less cramped and much more practical—especially for busy mornings or anyone who prefers step-in access rather than climbing into a bath. To make cleaning simpler and the finish more durable long-term, we fully tiled the walls and floor and used epoxy grout—helping the bathroom stay looking fresher with less effort.…
Bathroom reconfiguration Midstocket, Aberdeen
Full Bathroom Refurbishment Focused on Comfort and Modern Design We completely redesigned the layout of this bathroom to enhance both functionality and style. The bathtub was rotated, and a space-saving P-shaped model was installed in front of the window, creating a more open feel while maintaining a comfortable bathing experience. The old wooden ceiling was upgraded to plaster with sleek downlights, adding a brighter, modern atmosphere. A modern anthracite towel radiator replaced the outdated style, providing both heat and a convenient place to warm towels. For convenience and aesthetics, we installed a back-to-wall close-coupled toilet and an 800mm anthracite vanity…

Shower Room Cove
In this project, the bathtub was replaced with a stylish quadrant shower enclosure, offering a more open and accessible showering experience. The vanity unit was relocated to the wall where the old bathtub once stood, optimising the space and creating a more functional layout. To enhance convenience, we fitted a cabinet mirror with integrated LED lighting and a dual toothbrush charger, adding both practicality and a modern touch. For added comfort and style, the room features a towel radiator, while the flooring was upgraded to elegant white marble-effect vinyl click flooring, which is not only easy to clean but also…
Bathroom Dyce, Aberdeen
This full refurbishment involved a complete redesign of the main bathroom, tailored to meet the needs of everyone in the household. The standard bathtub was replaced with a sleek, freestanding model positioned in front of the window, complemented by a floor-mounted bath filler with a handheld shower attachment. The area where the soil pipe was located has been extended to create additional space at the end of the bathtub, featuring two recessed shelves for convenient storage of towels or toiletries. We installed a large vanity unit from our standard range (1200mm), offering ample storage with its three doors and three…

Ensuite Refurbishment, Westhill
This ensuite was starting to feel cramped, with limited storage and a small shower that wasn’t very practical day to day. By extending the shower into the former cupboard space, we created a much larger, more comfortable shower area without changing the footprint of the room. The new L-shaped units significantly increased storage, helping keep the ensuite tidy and clutter-free. A large LED mirror with integrated toothbrush charging improves everyday convenience, while vinyl click flooring offers a warm, practical finish that’s easy to maintain. In the shower area, panels were used for simpler cleaning, with tiles above the vanity adding…
Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
This project was a full bathroom refurbishment, transformed into a clean, modern walk-in shower space. Once we stripped out the old bathroom, we managed to gain a bit of extra room and fit a 700mm walk-in shower along the window wall, which worked really well for the layout and also gave much easier access on the other side. Because the house had a gravity-fed plumbing system, we installed a power shower, so the customer now gets proper water pressure and a much better showering experience. We also built a boxed section at the end of the shower area, including two…
Shower Refurbishment, Stonehaven
This full bathroom refurbishment was all about making the space easier to use and far more practical day to day. Previously, the room had virtually no storage and a bathtub that was awkward to use as a shower. We redesigned the layout to create a comfortable, easy-access shower within a quadrant enclosure, making daily routines simpler and safer. Large format tiles with epoxy grout were used throughout, giving the bathroom a clean, modern look while keeping maintenance to a minimum. Custom-built units now provide much-needed storage, with open shelves positioned for easy reach from the shower – ideal for everyday…
Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
A leaking bathroom became the turning point for this customer, giving them the opportunity to create a space that’s far more practical and enjoyable to use day to day. Storage was a key priority, so we made full use of the space under the eaves by fitting two large 600 mm drawer units. This provides generous, easy-to-access storage and helps keep the bathroom clutter-free and calm. The oversized walk-in shower (1800 × 800) with a 1200 mm glass panel makes showering feel open, comfortable and effortless to maintain. Two built-in recesses keep toiletries neatly out of sight, while still within…
Bathtub into walk in shower, Cove
In this older bathroom, we replaced the bathtub with a spacious walk-in shower, instantly making the room easier to use and far more comfortable day to day. By moving the toilet to the side wall and fitting wall-to-wall units, we created much more practical storage, helping keep the space clutter-free and calm. The large LED mirror with built-in demister means clear reflections even straight after a hot shower, while the combination of low-maintenance wall panels and vinyl click flooring makes the room easy to keep clean for years to come. White panels keep the space bright, with a patterned feature…
Walk in Shower, Aberdeen
This was a full bathroom refurbishment where the layout stayed pretty much the same, but everything was updated to make the space more comfortable, practical and modern. We replaced the old enclosure with a large walk-in shower with a stone-effect tray and two illuminated recesses, which keeps things tidy and makes everyday use much easier. The corner bath was removed and replaced with a modern freestanding bath with an illuminated recess, opening the room up and turning the bath into a real feature. The old unit was swapped for a freestanding vanity with an LED mirror above, giving better storage…
Bathroom Refurbishment, Aberdeen
This was a slightly more challenging project in an older granite house, with part of the room sitting below ground level. The space had previously been a cloakroom, and the customer wanted to turn it into a proper bathroom while still keeping some useful storage. With a ceiling height of just over 1800mm, a shower wasn’t really an option, so a freestanding bath was the best choice. It suits the room well and creates a calm, relaxing space. The walls were fully tiled for durability and easy cleaning, with wood-effect tiles around the bath and vanity to add warmth and…
Walk in Shower, Drumoak
This full walk-in shower refurbishment was all about making the bathroom more practical and comfortable to use every day. We redesigned the layout to create much better storage, fitting an L-shaped vanity unit that keeps the space tidy and clutter-free. A large walk-in shower became the centrepiece, with softly illuminated recesses at the end and additional niches along the angled wall, so everything you need is always within easy reach. Wall panels in the shower and durable vinyl click flooring keep the room easy to clean, while tiled splashbacks add a refined finish above the units. To complete the space,…

Walk in Shower Aberdeen
This was a full walk-in shower refurbishment where the customer wanted to move away from a bathtub, very little storage and a bathroom that was hard to maintain. The goal was to create a modern, comfortable space that’s easy to keep clean and designed to last. We used large 1200 × 600 tiles all around the room, finished with epoxy grout, which offers the best reliability and longevity. A 1600 × 900 walk-in shower was installed, with a slightly smaller glass panel at the end to allow more space for the vanity unit. Instead of making the shower longer, we…

Bathroom Refurbishment Aberdeen
Making a New Bathroom Feel Right This bathroom was part of a fairly new development, less than five years old, but from the moment our customers moved in they knew something wasn’t quite right. It looked fine, but it didn’t work for the way they lived. The layout felt awkward, and the space never felt relaxing or easy to use. What they really wanted was simple: a bathroom that felt comfortable and practical, with both a proper shower and a bath. They didn’t want to compromise, but with limited space, it needed some careful thought to make everything fit without…
Bathroom Refurbishment, Westhill
This bathroom had reached the point where it simply wasn’t working for the people using it. Storage was almost non-existent, the layout felt dated, and the space itself wasn’t being used to its full potential. Everything felt a little cramped and awkward, rather than calm or comfortable. Our aim was to reimagine the room so it felt organised, easy to live with, and quietly uplifting – a space that made everyday routines feel smoother and more enjoyable. To solve the biggest frustration, storage, we introduced L-shaped fitted units. This allowed us to wrap storage neatly around the room, making use…
Walk in Shower Aberdeen
This bathroom was more challenging than most due to its unusual layout, with multiple angled walls and the central heating system located within the room itself. The client wanted a clean, modern walk-in shower with tiled finishes throughout, while still keeping the space practical and well organised. Our solution was to carefully redesign the room by creating discreet stud walls and a built-in cupboard to neatly house the services and support the vanity unit. We used classic subway tiles in the shower area, with half-height tiling around the rest of the room to keep it feeling open and balanced. Inside…

Wall panels in the shower area keep cleaning simple, and the combination of downlights and a powerful extractor fan ensures the bathroom stays bright, fresh and inviting all day. https://youtube.com/shorts/IkpUQxgXl4M

Bathroom Refurbishment Blackburn, Aberdeen
This project began with a familiar problem — the customer’s old plywood wall panels had started to rot at the bottom. It’s something we see quite often, and it’s one of the main reasons we never use plywood or MDF panels in bathrooms. Even a small scratch can let in moisture, and over time that’s all it takes to cause damage. Before After For this renovation, we completely reconfigured the layout to make much better use of the available space. The customers chose a walk-in shower, separated by a large single glass screen, creating a clean, open feel. The thermostatic…

Ensuite Walk In Shower Ellon
For this compact ensuite, the customer needed a walk-in shower and, if possible, some storage. Given the limited space, it was a challenging room to design. You can find more details below, but we managed to achieve this by building a false wall to accommodate the toilet pipework, adding storage units above the toilet, using a small wall-hung sink, and installing a pocket door. This was the layout of the old bathroom: Incorporating both a walk-in shower and storage was extremely difficult in such a small space, but we eventually arrived at a layout that worked well. One of the…
Shower Room Aberdeen
We transformed this room with custom-built furniture, low-maintenance vinyl click flooring, and a sleek shower enclosure finished with ultra-large 1200×600 tiles — meaning fewer grout lines and a cleaner look. Walk in Shower Aberdeen
As with many refurbishments, unexpected surprises can arise—this is exactly why having a fixed quote and access to materials at short notice is so important. The original plan for this bathroom was to remove a false wall, extend the space, reposition the sink in front of the window, and install a walk-in shower where the old enclosure was. However, once we removed the wall, we discovered that while most of it was empty, the lower section concealed part of the neighbour’s staircase. This meant we had to completely rethink the layout. We installed a compact walk-in shower in front of…

In this project, the customer wanted to convert a shower room into a practical and stylish bathroom to make it easier to bathe her nephew. We installed a B-shaped bathtub with a concealed shower and positioned the controls outside the spray area for added convenience. Matching tiles were used on both the floor and walls, with half-height tiling outside the shower area to keep the space bright and balanced. We added two large recesses within the bathtub area for easy access to toiletries, and fitted a combined bath filler and overflow for a sleek, clutter-free look. A close-coupled toilet and…

Cloakroom Into Walk in Shower Stonehaven
This project started with a clear challenge: the customer had what was essentially a cloakroom-sized space and wanted to transform it into a fully functional bathroom — with a proper walk-in shower, practical storage, and finishes that would be easy to maintain over time. To achieve this, we had to completely rethink the layout: We shifted the toilet position to create room for a 1400×760 walk-in shower. A false wall was built to cover the soil pipe and house two recessed shelves, giving the customer essential shower storage without using up floor space. To avoid the door clashing with fittings,…

Bathroom to Wetroom Westhill
This full refurbishment in Westhill involved completely stripping out the old bathroom and transforming it into a modern wetroom. We started by replacing the window with a UPVC one, allowing us to position the shower near it. The area by the window was then designated as the wetroom space. The existing toilet boxing was retained but redesigned to house the concealed cistern—this means the toilet now projects less into the room and is fully waterproof. We also integrated the shower controls into this space, so the water can be turned on before stepping into the shower, and added two recessed…

The shower was installed where the old toilet once stood. We utilised the existing toilet ventilation space and extended it to the right, creating a tiled unit for the toilet and incorporating recessed shelves for the shower. The shower features a sleek,…
