A doorway that leaves fittings room

The pocket door slides into the wall instead of swinging across the floor. That avoids a door competing with the basin or toilet in the narrow room. Its value is practical every time the room is entered: the doorway and fittings can occupy adjacent positions without an inward-opening leaf needing clearance between them.

Storage without more floor furniture

A wall-hung vanity gives toiletries a home beneath the basin, and a tall wall-mounted cupboard adds enclosed storage elsewhere in the room. The false wall concealing pipework also holds two recessed shelves. Storage built into the layout reduces the need for an additional freestanding cabinet, with the floor beneath the vanity remaining visible.

The tall cupboard and vanity serve different needs: small daily items can stay beneath the basin, while spare supplies can go in the larger wall unit. This gives storage its own positions in the room rather than asking the basin edge to hold everything.
