Full bathroom refurbishment where we adjusted the layout to fit a walk-in shower. We used panels throughout the room, except for the sink wall, where we installed half-height panels and a strip of tiles behind the vanity unit up to the ceiling. The upper part of the wall was left painted, which can be changed in the future. This is the first time we have used this kind of combination of panels, tiles, and paint.
The walk-in shower is 1700mm, so we built a small false box at the end, where we created two illuminated recesses. The controls are positioned outside the spray area. The radiator is fitted higher up on the wall within the walk-in shower. The floor has click vinyl flooring, and the ceiling is UPVC with black downlights and an inline extractor fan.
The vanity unit is 800mm wide with two soft-close drawers. Above it is an LED mirror with a backlit effect, which works beautifully with the slate-effect tiles, along with a black toothbrush charger.
A perfect balance between practicality and design.
