This full bathroom refurbishment was designed to improve the layout and make the room much easier to clean and use day to day.
The original bath and shower were removed and replaced with a generous 1800 x 800 walk-in shower, creating a much more open feel. The boxed-in area behind the toilet was removed, and the toilet was repositioned onto the side wall. We also moved the basin wall so that all the main sanitaryware now sits neatly along one side of the room, giving the bathroom a more practical and streamlined layout.
As the room was wider than 1800mm, we built a false wall to make better use of the space and incorporated recessed storage within it. This helped create a cleaner finish while adding useful built-in storage.
For the finishes, we installed vinyl click flooring and solid-core wall panels for a durable, low-maintenance result. The room also features a large LED mirror cabinet, a toothbrush charging point, and a bar-style towel radiator. The radiator was positioned just beside the shower entrance, and we removed the architrave to gain a little more space near the doorway.
To complete the refurbishment, we fitted a UPVC ceiling with downlights, helping to give the room a bright, fresh and easy-to-maintain finish.
