The biggest design challenge in this bathroom was working around the gas and central-heating pipes running beneath the existing bath. As rerouting them was not a practical option, the entire layout was carefully designed around the existing pipework.
The former bath area was transformed into a bank of deep 600 mm storage units, making excellent use of the available space. A vertical toilet pipe was neatly concealed within a tall cupboard extending almost to the ceiling, providing additional storage while keeping the room looking clean and uncluttered.
On the opposite side, we installed a spacious 1200 × 800 mm shower enclosure, offering more than enough room for a comfortable everyday shower.
Other features include a wall-hung toilet with a smart washing and drying seat, easy-clean wall panels throughout, a towel radiator with pipework concealed through the wall, an LED mirror, vinyl click flooring, a recessed shower shelf and a concealed shower system with the controls conveniently positioned beside the entrance. The room was completed with a low-maintenance UPVC ceiling and modern recessed downlights.
