We recently completed a full bathroom refurbishment, carefully redesigning the layout to improve both functionality and aesthetics. By rotating the bathtub to face the window, we not only enhanced the sense of space but also created a more relaxing environment where the customer can enjoy natural light while bathing. This thoughtful change allowed us to relocate the vanity unit to the side wall, making room for a properly positioned mirror directly above the sink, which is far more convenient for everyday use, whether brushing teeth or getting ready in the morning. The vanity unit itself features two soft-close drawers, ensuring ample storage for bathroom essentials while maintaining a neat, clutter-free space. The soft-close mechanism adds a touch of luxury and prevents slamming, offering both practicality and long-term durability.
The fittings, such as taps, downlights, and even the extractor fan grille, have all been finished in matte black, creating a sleek, modern aesthetic that is highly sought-after. This cohesive design not only adds visual appeal but also helps the bathroom feel more sophisticated and up to date, which is particularly beneficial for homeowners looking to increase the value of their property or simply enjoy a stylish space.
For the flooring, we chose vinyl click flooring, which is designed with the customer’s comfort in mind. Not only is it incredibly easy to clean, saving time on maintenance, but it also provides a warm, cushioned feeling underfoot, perfect for those chilly mornings. This flooring is highly durable, making it ideal for busy households, while still offering a high-end look and feel.
The shower enclosure is generously sized, featuring a slim tray that reduces the step-in height, making it easier to access and more comfortable to use. The enclosure’s black frame ties in with the rest of the bathroom’s modern aesthetic, creating a consistent, well-thought-out design. Additionally, we fitted a recessed shelf within the shower, which offers a practical and discreet storage solution for shampoos, conditioners, and other toiletries, eliminating the need for bulky shower caddies and keeping the space tidy.
The entire shower area has been fully tiled, providing a waterproof and easy-to-clean surface, while the rest of the room features elegant half-height tiling, ensuring that the bathroom not only looks refined but is also easy to maintain. The tiles were chosen to balance style with practicality, making them both beautiful and durable for daily use.
Overall, the bathroom has been designed with the customer’s comfort, convenience, and style in mind, ensuring a space that is both functional and inviting. Every detail, from the placement of the fixtures to the choice of materials, has been carefully considered to provide long-term satisfaction and ease of use.

To make the bathroom more child-friendly, we built a custom tile surround around the bathtub, perfect for storing toys. The radiator pipes were relocated to the wall, addressing previous cleaning difficulties under the radiators.
