This full bathroom refurbishment was designed to make the room feel more modern, practical and comfortable to use every day. The customer wanted to replace an old-fashioned bathtub with a stylish walk-in shower, creating a space that feels more open, easier to access and simpler to maintain.
The old bath sat on a raised platform, with tiles throughout the room, which made the space feel dated. We replaced it with a modern walk-in shower in front of the window, fitted with a dual thermostatic shower, a fixed walk-in panel and a flipper panel for better splash protection without closing the space in.
To keep the bathroom bright, clean-looking and easy to maintain, we used tile-effect panels in the shower area and marble-effect panels through the rest of the room, including behind the units. The oak-effect floor tiles add warmth and help the space feel more inviting rather than cold and clinical.
For everyday comfort, we fitted a comfort-height toilet, a towel radiator, a UPVC ceiling with a single light, an LED mirror and an additional light above the mirror to improve visibility. Storage was also a big part of this design, with deep 600mm custom-built units, a countertop basin and a tall larder unit at the end, giving the customer plenty of practical space to keep the bathroom tidy and organised.
The finished result is a bathroom that feels more spacious, more comfortable and much easier to enjoy day to day.
