Most bathrooms have a soil pipe ventilation system that extends through the roof. In this property in Bridge of Don, we extended the corner boxing by 800mm—the same width as the shower—followed by a smaller boxed section for the toilet. This design not only allowed us to incorporate deep recessed niches within the shower but also enabled the installation of a back-to-wall toilet with the cistern neatly concealed inside a tiled unit, creating a sleek and functional space.
