In this situation, we used a 1700×700 walk in shower, and we were left with around 20cm space at the end. Leaving a small floor area there is not ideal, since splashes can get there, and building a screen at the end means a space hard to clean. The solution in this situation was building a fake wall, to take us to the tray from the wall, and building two deep recesses inside.
