A cloakroom can sometimes contribute more than an extra toilet. For this large family, we transformed one into a shower room with a 1000 × 800 mm offset quadrant enclosure. It also serves as the main bathroom for guests, giving visitors their own washing facilities and adding another shower to the household. Starting with who will use the space helped turn a smaller room into a more useful part of everyday family life.
