Change furniture depth where the basin needs it

The worktop steps forward beneath the vessel basin while the adjoining toilet ledge remains shallower. Both sections have the same timber-effect finish, so the change in depth feels like part of one arrangement. The deeper section gives the separate bowl a proper surface around it.

Fitted furniture does not need one depth along its entire length. Consider where each section needs space, then shape the run around those uses. Here, the basin takes the deeper portion while the neighbouring toilet area keeps a slimmer ledge.
