More room. Less cleaning. A bathroom that makes everyday life easier.

A bathroom should be a comfortable place to start and finish your day. For these customers, the old layout made even simple things unnecessarily awkward.

There was no mirror above the basin for shaving or applying make-up. The shower was cramped, with very little room to move comfortably. Closing the door meant squeezing between it and the toilet, while small tiles and countless grout lines made cleaning more time-consuming than it needed to be.

We completely reconfigured the room, focusing on how it would feel to use every day — not just how it would look when finished.

More space to move, without the daily squeeze

Replacing the cramped enclosure with a large walk-in shower in front of the window gave our customers room to shower comfortably, rather than constantly working around a restricted space.

We also fitted a new door with a different opening direction. It is a simple change, but one that makes a difference every time they enter, leave or close the door. No more awkwardly squeezing past the toilet.

The concealed shower keeps the finish neat, while positioning the controls outside the spray area means they can turn the water on and let it reach a comfortable temperature before stepping in. No reaching through a cold spray to get the shower started.

Easier mornings and a place for everything

We built a custom unit along the side wall to make better use of the available space, giving everyday essentials a proper home rather than leaving them cluttering the room.

A large LED mirror cabinet above the basin now provides a practical place for shaving, skincare and applying make-up, with useful lighting and additional storage close to hand.

Together, these changes make getting ready more convenient and keeping the bathroom tidy much easier.

Less time cleaning and maintaining the room

We replaced the small wall tiles with easy-clean panels throughout, removing the extensive network of grout lines that previously needed scrubbing. Larger, smooth surfaces make routine cleaning much more straightforward.

The vinyl click flooring gives a warmer feel underfoot than tiles and avoids floor grout to maintain, while the matt UPVC ceiling provides a wipe-clean finish without the regular repainting associated with a painted ceiling.

Even the towel radiator’s pipework was considered. Bringing the pipes through the wall rather than up through the floor leaves fewer awkward areas to clean around and gives the room a tidier finish.

The benefit is not just a bathroom that looks clean on completion, but one that is easier to keep looking good over the years.

A fresher, more comfortable space

An inline extractor above the shower helps remove steam close to where it is produced, keeping moisture under better control.

We also replaced the old window with a modern tilt-and-turn UPVC window, giving our customers more flexibility over ventilation and a low-maintenance frame.

White downlights provide practical lighting throughout the room, complemented by the illuminated mirror for close-up tasks. A towel radiator adds warmth and somewhere to dry towels, making the bathroom more comfortable to step into and use.

The result is more than a new bathroom. It is an easier morning routine, a more comfortable shower, less time spent cleaning and a room that works better for the people using it — every single day.
