This project is a combination of building/bathroom work, converting a spare bedroom into an ensuite and walk in wardrobe. More specifically it involved the following:
- Closing the bedroom door and making a new opening from a different bedroom. A pocked door (that slides inside a wall) was used, so that when open it maximises the space.
- Painting/decorating trough-out the rooms
- 12mm laminate flooring
- Walk in wardrobe with large sliding mirrors
- Downlights troughout the new created rooms. In the hallway where the walk in wardrobe is there are tilted downlights that aim inside the walk-in-wardrobe
- A new ensuite:
- Full panels on the walls and ceiling
- Walk in shower with dual shower (concealed)
- Freestanding bathtub
- Vinyl click flooring
- Towel radiator
- Wall hung vanity unit with drawers and demister mirror
- Humidistat extractor fan with timer (it works when you switch off the lights for a certain period or time; it also has a humidity sensor, it continues working until the humidity reaches a certain level)
- Shaver socket
- Double pocket doors with mirrors attached to the inside of the doors
A slightly better use than a spare bedroom, right?
