This comprehensive refurbishment project involved transforming the existing bathtub into a stylish and accessible walk-in shower, creating a more convenient and contemporary bathing experience. The new shower area featured a spacious design, with easy-entry access and recessed niches for storing toiletries, ensuring both practicality and visual appeal.
Vinyl click flooring was installed throughout the bathroom, providing a durable and water-resistant surface that was easy to maintain. The walls were adorned with tiles, adding an elegant touch while also enhancing the room’s resistance to moisture and humidity.
A modern ceramic close coupled toilet was chosen for its sleek design and space-saving features, complementing the overall aesthetic of the refurbished bathroom. The wall-mounted vanity unit provided additional storage space and a minimalist appearance. However, due to the existing plumbing layout, a custom-built box was constructed at the bottom of the unit to conceal the soil pipe, seamlessly integrating it into the design.
The walk-in shower area was further enhanced with recessed niches, which not only added visual interest but also provided convenient storage for shower essentials. These niches were skillfully integrated into the tiled walls, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the space.
The full refurbishment resulted in a modern, functional, and inviting bathroom that catered to the needs of its users while showcasing a harmonious blend of style and practicality. The thoughtful combination of fixtures, finishes, and design elements elevated the overall appearance of the space, making it a pleasure to use and easy to maintain.

We redesigned the bathroom to include a shower enclosure and more storage. We moved the bathtub from the window to make space for the shower next to the door, installing a 1000x700 shower enclosure.
