Bathroom Bucksburn: bathing and showering together

An L-shaped bath and shower share the window end of this bathroom. Dark wall panels, blue-grey drawers and an illuminated recess give the room useful storage and a consistent appearance.

Bathing and showering together

The bath and shower share one part of the room, providing different washing options within the same footprint. The glass screen helps contain shower spray while keeping the wall finish visible. This combination retains the choice of taking a bath without finding space for a second washing area, making a single arrangement useful at different moments of the day.

Storage close to the basin

Drawers beneath the basin put everyday products close to where they are used. Items can be returned to the furniture after washing, leaving the basin edge available rather than turning it into a shelf for everything. The basin and storage form one arrangement, giving this part of the bathroom a practical purpose as well as a coordinated appearance.

Bottles close at hand

Recessed storage gives washing products a designated home within the wall. Bottles can stay near the shower or bath without collecting on the washing surface, and the inset shelves avoid a separate basket projecting into the space. It is a small detail with an everyday purpose: keeping products together where they are used and leaving the washing area clearer.

Towels have their own place

The towel radiator provides hanging space on the wall rather than leaving towels resting on the basin or bath edge. Its position keeps this everyday item within the bathroom’s washing routine. When the heating is operating, the rail can also warm towels; its appearance is kept consistent with the nearby fittings so this practical feature belongs within the room.
