This was a full bathroom refurbishment where the layout stayed pretty much the same, but everything was updated to make the space more comfortable, practical and modern.
We replaced the old enclosure with a large walk-in shower with a stone-effect tray and two illuminated recesses, which keeps things tidy and makes everyday use much easier. The corner bath was removed and replaced with a modern freestanding bath with an illuminated recess, opening the room up and turning the bath into a real feature.
The old unit was swapped for a freestanding vanity with an LED mirror above, giving better storage and much better lighting for daily use. We also upgraded the radiator to a high-efficiency model, so the room heats up quicker and feels warmer.
The walls are tiled all around, half height throughout and higher in the shower area for extra protection, with easy-to-clean vinyl click flooring underfoot. A comfort-height toilet improves usability, and the blue paint on the upper walls softens the look and gives the room a calm, modern feel.
