For taller customers, the space above the shower matters. In this project, we found unused space above the existing ceiling and raised the ceiling locally over the shower. That provided more headroom where it was needed, without changing the whole room ceiling. Checking what is behind the existing finishes can reveal useful space that a simple replacement of fittings would leave unused.
