This ensuite was starting to feel cramped, with limited storage and a small shower that wasn’t very practical day to day.
By extending the shower into the former cupboard space, we created a much larger, more comfortable shower area without changing the footprint of the room. The new L-shaped units significantly increased storage, helping keep the ensuite tidy and clutter-free.
A large LED mirror with integrated toothbrush charging improves everyday convenience, while vinyl click flooring offers a warm, practical finish that’s easy to maintain. In the shower area, panels were used for simpler cleaning, with tiles above the vanity adding a more refined look where it matters most.
The walls were finished in a soft colour to brighten the space, and the ceiling was re-plastered and painted, with downlights added to give better, more even lighting.
To make better use of space, the radiator was recessed near the door, preventing the door from hitting it and freeing up valuable room. The concealed shower controls were positioned opposite the shower head, making the shower easier to use without stepping into the spray. There is also an illuminated shower recess.
Overall, the result is an ensuite that feels more spacious, more practical, and far better suited to everyday use, with improved storage, easier cleaning, and a noticeably better showering experience.
