In this situation, the customer required a wetroom with as little maintenance as possible and as much space as possible. The cupboard behind the bathtub was partially removed, boxing the old boiler and making a step for the shower.
Tiled flooring and panels all around (including on the ceiling) makes this a less expensive wetroom, with very little maintenance in terms of cleaning.
