We generally prefer B-shaped bathtubs if you want to have a shower over the bath. The curved section gives you a little more space in the showering area, while the B shape is less pronounced than a P-shaped bath. We also find it better than an L-shaped bathtub, as it tends to keep more water inside the bath. With an L-shaped bath, if you use a movable screen, there are usually two seals that do not join together properly, and that corner will almost always let water out if it is sprayed directly.
