The window sill often becomes a handy place for toiletries, but its finish needs to suit a bathroom. In this project, waterproof worktop material was used on both the sill and the fitted unit. It gives the window area a practical surface to wipe down and links it visually with the furniture. Thinking about these smaller surfaces alongside the main walls helps create a bathroom that is consistent and easier to maintain.
