This bathroom had one major issue: almost no storage at all. And with the children getting older, the bathtub was becoming far less useful for day-to-day life.

So we completely redesigned the room with one clear goal in mind: maximum storage and practicality for a busy family home.

We re-planned the entire layout to make the space work properly, replacing wasted areas with smart, high-capacity storage. The shower enclosure was relocated into the area where the vanity unit used to be, and we fully redesigned the bath and toilet zone to allow for custom-built storage solutions that make a real difference in everyday life.

One of the biggest upgrades is the storage along the sink side — the units are 600mm deep, meaning they offer significantly more usable space than standard bathroom furniture. This continues onto the toilet wall in a clean L-shaped layout, giving the room a much more organised, built-in feel, while providing enough storage for a large household.

To make the bathroom feel modern, bright, and easy to maintain, we also installed:
• Floor and wall tiles finished with epoxy grout (more hygienic and easier to clean)
• A sleek concealed shower system
• Illuminated recessed shelves inside the shower for everyday essentials
• A new towel radiator for warmth and comfort
• A stylish shaver mirror
• Downlights for a clean and bright finish
• A UPVC ceiling, ideal for moisture resistance and low maintenance
• A new extractor fan to improve ventilation and prevent damp issues

And finally, a real standout feature: a Japanese-style smart toilet seat, designed for comfort and hygiene. It includes a heated seat, warm water wash, warm air drying, UV sterilisation for bacteria reduction, and an automatic deodoriser — a genuine luxury upgrade that also makes the bathroom far more practical for everyday family use.

Overall, this bathroom is now better organised, easier to keep clean, and far more suited to a busy household, with storage and comfort built into every part of the design.
