This full bathroom refurbishment was designed to make the room feel more practical, comfortable and enjoyable to use every day. Our customer wanted to replace the bathtub with a large shower enclosure, creating a more spacious and accessible washing area that is easier to step into and far more convenient for everyday use.
Although we first considered a walk-in shower, keeping extra space under the window for storage was more important for the customer’s needs. The final layout gave them a better balance between a generous showering space and the storage needed to keep the bathroom tidy, organised and clutter-free.
Storage played a big part in the design. We fitted a vanity unit with drawers and cupboards for easier organisation, extended the boxing from the shower area, and created recessed shelving above the toilet and vanity unit. This gave the customer more built-in storage without making the room feel crowded, helping everything stay neat and within easy reach.
To make the room feel brighter and more modern, we installed a large LED mirror, which improves visibility for everyday routines such as shaving, skincare or getting ready in the morning. The matt UPVC ceiling with a single light keeps the ceiling low-maintenance and fresh-looking, while the wall panels all around the room make cleaning much quicker and easier.
We also fitted vinyl click flooring for a warmer, more comfortable feel underfoot, a new extractor fan to help reduce condensation and keep the room fresher, and a dual thermostatic shower for a more enjoyable and reliable showering experience with better comfort and control.
Overall, this refurbishment gave the customer a bathroom that is easier to use, easier to clean, better organised and more enjoyable to spend time in.
