Removing a cupboard does not have to mean giving all its space to one fitting. In this bathroom, part of the former cupboard was incorporated into a recessed shower, while the remaining area beside it became floor-to-ceiling storage. The customer gained more room to shower and still had useful space for bathroom essentials. Dividing the old cupboard area between both needs produced a more balanced result than treating storage and showering separately.
