A compact ensuite may not have room for a substantial vanity beneath the basin. In this project, a small wall-hung sink was paired with storage cupboards above the toilet instead. Handwashing remains convenient beside the doorway, while spare bathroom essentials have a separate home behind cupboard doors. Planning storage away from the basin makes it possible to include both a walk-in shower and useful cupboard space in a restricted room.
