Keep textured tiles on the mirror wall

A textured finish can give the basin area its own character without filling every wall with relief. Here, fine horizontal ridges sit behind the illuminated mirror, while the shower wall has larger, flatter tiles. The contrast is in the surface as well as the colour.

Concentrating the texture around the mirror gives it a clear role: this is the getting-ready area. The quieter shower wall leaves room for the illuminated recesses to stand out. It is a way to enjoy a distinctive finish while allowing neighbouring features their own space.
