Some bathroom improvements are felt rather than seen. In this refurbishment, we stripped the walls back and added insulation before fitting the new finishes. It addresses the room itself alongside the shower, storage and lighting, helping make comfort part of the refurbishment rather than an afterthought. When a bathroom is being taken back to its underlying surfaces, it is a useful opportunity to consider what can be improved behind them.
