If possible, having an inline extractor fan just above shower is one of the most important things you can do for your bathroom. This ensures better ventilation (an inline extractor fan has an extraction rate 3 times as much as a standard one) + by being just above the shower it means that it mostly gets the steam without travelling troughout the room.
