Continue a hexagon pattern in two contrasting colours

The basin wall has a pale hexagonal pattern, while the shower wall beside it carries the same geometry in black. The colour changes strongly at the boundary, but the repeated six-sided shapes provide a connection between the two areas. The white basin belongs to the lighter side.

This is an option when you want contrasting zones without introducing completely unrelated patterns. Compare the shape and scale of both finishes as well as their colours. Keeping the geometry related can make a bold change feel deliberate while giving the shower its own appearance.
