A bathroom has more visible surfaces than its walls alone. In this room, the painted walls and ceiling were finished in the same colour, creating a continuous backdrop around the tiled shower area. It softens the change between wall and ceiling and keeps the room from feeling divided into separate bands. Considering the ceiling as part of the colour scheme can bring an individual atmosphere to the room without adding more fittings.
