Carry the bath accent around the corner

An accent beside a bath can continue beyond the bath itself. Here, a warm vertical wall finish runs into a long illuminated recess on the neighbouring wall. The bath and the adjacent fitting area share the same visual thread, rather than feeling like two unrelated ends of the room.

The corner is the useful part of this idea. Consider how a feature ends, turns or joins another surface before choosing its width. A deliberate continuation can connect the room, while the quieter lower walls give the accent space to stand out. The result depends on the relationship between the surfaces, rather than adding more colours.
