For this project, we transformed the bathroom into a more accessible and modern space by replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower, offering easier access and a more open feel. The addition of a stylish vanity unit with drawers and an overmounted basin not only enhances storage but also adds a sleek, contemporary touch. An LED mirror provides optimal lighting while also saving energy.
The practical benefits continue with vinyl click flooring, chosen for its durability and ease of cleaning, making it ideal for a busy household. To accommodate 2400mm wall panels, we lowered the ceiling, ensuring a seamless and elegant finish. A small step was installed in the walk-in shower for efficient drainage, maintaining functionality without sacrificing style.
A modern towel radiator was fitted in place of the old radiator, combining warmth and convenience by keeping towels dry and ready to use. Downlights were added to brighten the room, and an inline extractor fan ensures that moisture is effectively managed, preventing damp and maintaining the longevity of the new fittings. A new close-coupled toilet offers a compact, space-saving solution.
Within the walk-in shower, we incorporated a push-to-open cupboard, offering hidden storage, and three practical recesses, perfect for keeping toiletries within easy reach without cluttering the space. The result is a minimalist yet highly functional bathroom, designed with ease of maintenance and practicality in mind, offering comfort and modern convenience in equal measure.
