This family, with four energetic boys at home, needed a bathroom that was both practical and easy to maintain – no small challenge in such a compact space.

Before

To maximise functionality, we:

• Installed custom-built units, including a deeper sink unit with drawers for extra storage.

• Repositioned the towel radiator to the end of the bath, so warm, dry towels are always within reach after a shower.

• Moved the shower to the opposite side and built a new wall to house the soil pipe, incorporating three recessed shelves for toiletries.

• Fitted a sealed, fixed glass screen – no moving parts means easier cleaning and longer durability.

• Used UPVC ceiling panels, eliminating the need for repainting.

• Lined the walls with premium solid-core panels and laid vinyl click flooring, both hardwearing and simple to wipe down.

• Added a recessed LED mirror cabinet beside the toilet for extra storage.

• Mounted the sink tap on the wall for a clean, modern look, with the toothbrush charger discreetly placed on the side of the new wall.

• Installed a high-powered extractor fan to effectively control moisture and prevent damp.

The result is a stylish, low-maintenance bathroom that stands up to busy family life while making the most of every inch of space.
