This project began with a familiar problem — the customer’s old plywood wall panels had started to rot at the bottom. It’s something we see quite often, and it’s one of the main reasons we never use plywood or MDF panels in bathrooms. Even a small scratch can let in moisture, and over time that’s all it takes to cause damage.

For this renovation, we completely reconfigured the layout to make much better use of the available space. The customers chose a walk-in shower, separated by a large single glass screen, creating a clean, open feel. The thermostatic shower was fitted on the opposite wall for easy access and a more balanced layout.

When it came to the storage units, we built custom-fitted furniture again — but with a smarter approach this time. Instead of the boxed area that used to sit behind the toilet, we integrated the toilet ventilation neatly within a long unit. This clever design gave the customers a surprising amount of storage, all within a relatively compact space.

Throughout the room, we installed UPVC wall panels — fully waterproof and designed to last — along with vinyl click flooring, a towel radiator, and a round LED mirror with an integrated shaver socket. A sleek countertop basin completes the look, bringing together practicality and contemporary style.
