This full refurbishment in Westhill involved completely stripping out the old bathroom and transforming it into a modern wetroom.
We started by replacing the window with a UPVC one, allowing us to position the shower near it. The area by the window was then designated as the wetroom space. The existing toilet boxing was retained but redesigned to house the concealed cistern—this means the toilet now projects less into the room and is fully waterproof. We also integrated the shower controls into this space, so the water can be turned on before stepping into the shower, and added two recessed shelves for toiletries.
For the flooring, we used tiles, while all walls were fitted with UPVC panels in a finish that complements the floor tiles. The ceiling was also upgraded with white UPVC panels for a clean, low-maintenance finish. The vanity unit is wall-hung, featuring two drawers and a sleek wall-mounted basin tap. Above it, we installed an elegant oval LED mirror, adding both style and practical lighting. Additionally, we fitted a compact towel radiator higher up on the wall.
Overall, the refurbishment has created a more open and spacious feel, with increased storage and a much more stylish finish.
