For a recent bathroom renovation project, we kept a similar layout but replaced the bathtub with a walk-in shower. The drainage of the house allowed for the walk-in shower to be level with the floor, providing both style and functionality.
To keep things simple, we incorporated panels in the shower area, plastered the rest of the walls, and installed vinyl click flooring. This created a modern and clean look, with easy maintenance and cleaning.
From the old bathroom, the mirror was the only thing that the customer liked. We were able to incorporate this into the new design, adding a touch of familiarity and comfort to the space.
We also fitted a pump to increase the water pressure for the shower, which was necessary due to the gravity-fed system in place. This allowed the shower to function properly and provided a better overall experience for the client.
