Is it worth upgrading to premium products?
As a general rule of thumb, higher-priced items tend to offer better quality. However, the differences are not always significant, as our standard range is carefully curated to ensure quality at a reasonable price.
Standard products are covered by the warranty associated with your chosen package: Value — 1 year; Balanced — 3 years; Premium — 5 years. Selecting a premium product does not by itself extend the warranty. Cover applies to our workmanship and the products we supply and install, subject to the terms and maintenance requirements.
What are premium products?
For certain categories, we offer the option to select premium products. These are typically branded items that feature higher specifications than standard products.
In the quote we provide, you’ll find a section detailing potential upgrades. If a premium product is available as an option, you’ll be able to see the additional cost for upgrading to that premium product.
How do I know the price of the products?
Your quote includes a detailed breakdown of prices to make the process as straightforward as possible. For example, if your quote includes a standard thermostatic shower, you can select any option from our range of thermostatic showers, and the price will remain the same.
This means you’ll receive a quote with various options, and regardless of which one you choose, the quoted price will not change.
Can you supply something not in your catalogues?
With certain exceptions, no. Our selection is limited because we are very careful about what we supply. While we understand that variety is important, we prioritise quality above all else. Therefore, we only offer items with which we have extensive, positive experience.
We continuously monitor the market and test new products. If they meet our high standards, we add them to our catalogues. However, as a general rule, we do not supply products unless we are confident in their quality and durability.
Can I supply my own items?
We can accommodate some customer-supplied products by prior agreement, but generally prefer to supply the majority of products. This helps us check compatibility, coordinate deliveries and provide aftercare. Customer-supplied products are not covered by our product warranty, and labour to remove or refit a faulty customer-supplied product is not covered.
Labour costs are typically the most significant expense in a bathroom refurbishment, so please be mindful of the potential costs involved when supplying your own items.
