Decor tiles (ceramic)
These tiles are an excellent choice for creating a striking feature wall or adding a stylish touch to recessed areas. The 3D-effect designs, in particular, look stunning—especially when enhanced with LED strip lighting or a backlit LED mirror. Due to their manufacturing process, these tiles are ceramic, making them ideal for walls but not suitable for floors, as they’re not as durable as porcelain.
If you’d like, we can use décor tiles even all around the room, many of our past customers chose this option.

Matching tiles
These options work well for larger floor tiles, half-sized wall tiles, and a feature wall. The feature tiles are ceramic.

Antislip tiles
For maximum slip resistance, especially for households with mobility concerns, choosing anti-slip tiles is ideal. The options below have an R11 rating, the highest typically used for indoor residential spaces. Standard tiles are R9, while R12 is common for outdoor use, and R13 for commercial areas like swimming pools.

We don’t provide samples. However, should you opt for a package that includes Vray renders, we can create a high-quality digital render of the tiles. This visualization will depict how the tiles complement the other products you have selected.
If you prefer the showroom experience, you can also choose tiles from CTD tiles. You may wish to visit their showroom to personally inspect the tiles. In order to keep the price the same, choose tiles from CTD that are under £40 per square meter. These tiles should fall within a surface area range of 0.1 to 0.25 square meters. Appropriate sizes include 600×300 mm, 600×200 mm, 1200×200 mm, and 620×320 mm.
Epoxy grout offers exceptional durability, superior water and stain resistance, and maintains consistent color over time, making it ideal for high-moisture areas like bathrooms. Unlike cement grout, it doesn’t discolor significantly when wet. However, its application is more complex, typically resulting in higher labor costs.
Please note that our standard service does not include epoxy grout unless explicitly stated in your quote. For a detailed estimate regarding the additional cost of using epoxy grout, kindly reach out to us via email, and we will promptly provide you with a tailored price assessment.
Ceramic tiles offer more options, but porcelain tiles are more durable and straighter than ceramic tiles due to manufacturing processes. You can read more here: https://claudestradesmen.co.uk/love-tiles-but-hate-grout-there-are-ways-to-make-things-better/
For an additional cost, you can get the following:
- Underfloor Heating: Tiles are ideal for underfloor heating as they conduct heat well.
- Premium Tiles: This includes various options, ranging from smaller to larger tiles. You can find the available options by clicking click.
- Epoxy Grout: A much stronger, waterproof grout with superior properties.
Please note that your quote might already include some of these items. If it doesn’t, and you’re interested, let us know and we can provide the additional cost for these options.
Generally, selecting bigger tiles means less grout is needed. We aim for thin grout lines to reduce grout usage. After calculating for various tile sizes, we found that the total grout length for our smallest tile (200x65mm) is 40 times more than that for our largest tile (1200x600mm).
For a room 2 metres by 1.7 metres, fully tiled, we’ll use approximately the following:
Large tiles
- With 300x600mm tiles, 51.9 meters of grout line
- With 600x600mm tiles, 42.6 meters of grout line
- With 1200x600mm tiles (the largest in our catalogues), 10.8 metres of grout line
Small tiles
- 330x330mm tiles, 104.9 meters of grout line
- 200×200, 189.3 meteres of grout line
- 200x100mm (standard subway tiles), 295.5 of grout line
- 200×65 (the smallest tiles available in our catalogues), 409.6 of grout line
