If you have low pressure for hot water, the two Mira showers in the options below will work better. The other options are designed to work with high pressure systems, pumps or good combi boilers.
If you have a gravity fed system ( a tank in the loft), you should consider using a pumped shower, since modern thermostatic showers tend to work poorly with gravity fed systems. While pumps tend to be expensive, we can use TS 30 (Mira power shower) instead of a thermostatic shower, at no extra cost if you have a gravity fed system.
In most situations, you can switch from an electric shower to a thermostatic shower. It’s simpler with a combi boiler. For a gravity fed system, with tanks in the loft and house, it’s more complex and may need a pump for pressure. If your quote doesn’t include this switch, let us know and we’ll provide the cost.
