This bathroom had reached the point where it simply wasn’t working for the people using it. Storage was almost non-existent, the layout felt dated, and the space itself wasn’t being used to its full potential. Everything felt a little cramped and awkward, rather than calm or comfortable.
Our aim was to reimagine the room so it felt organised, easy to live with, and quietly uplifting – a space that made everyday routines feel smoother and more enjoyable.
To solve the biggest frustration, storage, we introduced L-shaped fitted units. This allowed us to wrap storage neatly around the room, making use of corners that had previously been wasted. Suddenly, everything had a place, and the room felt calmer and more spacious as a result.
We then moved the shower to the opposite side of the room, which completely changed how the space flowed. This gave us the opportunity to create illuminated recesses, adding both practical storage and soft, ambient lighting that makes the room feel warm and considered, especially in the evenings.
To keep the space feeling cohesive and low-maintenance, we finished the walls with panels throughout the room, paired with vinyl click flooring that’s durable, warm underfoot, and easy to live with day to day. These finishes brought a clean, contemporary feel without losing comfort.
Other thoughtful touches helped maximise space and usability:
- A wall-mounted radiator, freeing up valuable floor area
- A large LED mirror, adding light, depth, and a sense of luxury
- Clever layout changes that made the room feel open rather than crowded
The transformation wasn’t just about updating the look – it was about making the bathroom work effortlessly for modern life. What was once awkward and outdated is now a space that feels organised, bright, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
