The only way we can provide you with an accurate quote is to visit your property, assess the condition of your bathroom and discuss your project. You’ll receive 3 different quotes for your project: a budget, mid range and high-end option.
A bathroom refurbishment is usually between £6000 and £20 000 for a full refurbishment including all the labour and materials.
The price vary so much mainly due to 3 main parts:
- The condition of the current bathroom. This is the most important part, especially if you want a quality bathroom. More specifically:
- Is the subfloor in good condition?
- Is the bathroom fitted with moisture resistant plasterboard?
- Are the walls (especially the external walls), insulated?
- Is the existing plumbing in good condition?
- Is there access for services? Modern houses built to standard have cavities to run services (electrics & plumbing)
- Do you have solid walls? This affects the price significantly. The worst case scenario are granite walls, specially if you need drilled holes for extractor fan or toilet.
- The scope of the project. Depending on the condition of the bathroom, we can discuss possible options for you.
- Modern houses make it easy to change the layout of the rooms, while it’s extremely difficult for older houses, especially non-standard built.
- Do you want to bring the room to modern standards? If so, this can be very expensive especially if the condition of the bathroom is not good. Simple makeovers are inexpensive, but sometimes it’s better to do things properly once, rather to pay multiple times for makeovers.
- Quality of the products. Bathroom products are not particularly expensive, this is why this is not as important as the condition of the bathroom & the scope of the project when pricing a project. Yes, you can get very expensive products if you want, but that alone will definitely not make the bathroom a high quality one.
We offer quality at price point, meaning that at a certain price, we try as much as possible to be the best quote. This means that if you have a budget of £10 000, in the same budget you’ll struggle to find anyone else offering better value.
